About East Academy
Welcome to East Academy and our home on the world wide web!
We are a school for children and families who love learning, and look forward to college.
Founded in 2001 by a future-thinking group of community leaders, the Academy continues to honor the vision of our founders.
That vision means we are a college prep independent day school working with students in K-8 to prepare them for high school and college. All of our children are college bound.
We honor our mission by being purposely diverse with 40% of our students coming from a wide range of socio-economic, racial, religious, and cultural backgrounds. We know the world is full of wonderful differences. We respect those differences while learning, together, about our strengths and similarities as human beings and learners.
We expect great things from our students and their families. We are a school where students grow in stature as artists, musicians, mathematicians, writers, orators, scientists, athletes, dancers, singers, and world-class thinkers. We expect our graduates to change the world they live in every day by becoming community leaders and world-class citizens.
